Terms of Use

This document describes the terms under which the pistonix.com.br site and the Pistonix waitlist are offered. By using the site or submitting your data through the form you agree to the terms below.

1. Product stage

Pistonix is in pre-MVP / on-the-bench stage. No product is available for sale yet. Specifications, dates, prices and features shown on the site are indicative and may change as development progresses. Joining the waitlist does not constitute a purchase contract or a binding reservation.

2. Waitlist

• Joining is free and voluntary. You may unsubscribe at any time by emailing contato@pistonix.com.br.
• Subscribers get priority on the first batch, but the final ordering may consider criteria such as bike type, location and ties to the Milwaukee Garage Drag Racing community.
• We do not guarantee unlimited availability of the first batch. If demand exceeds production capacity, we open subsequent batches.

3. Off-road use and rider responsibility

Pistonix hardware configured for race (Pistonix Quarter) is intended exclusively for closed-course use. Pistonix Forge and Apex configurations may be used on public roads provided they comply with applicable Brazilian legislation (CONTRAN, CONAMA Resolution, state-level emissions and noise rules) — or the equivalent in your jurisdiction.

The rider/owner is solely responsible for:

• Ensuring the bike is in proper mechanical condition.
• Verifying applicable laws in the city, state and country of use.
• Operating the bike in a safe environment, with proper safety gear, respecting the rules of each track, event or road.
• Understanding the risks inherent to modified engines (high power, knock, mechanical failure) and operating within the documented hardware limits.

Pistonix is not liable for material, personal or third-party damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, inadequate calibration, or use beyond documented specifications. Support and assisted tuning are offered as a service, not as a guarantee of outcome.

4. Intellectual property

All site content, the Pistonix brand, logos, firmware, software, basemaps, technical documentation and visual identity are property of Pistonix and protected by law. Reproduction or redistribution without express authorization is prohibited.

Pistonix firmware and software are proprietary and closed. The use license is tied to the corresponding hardware purchase; reverse engineering, decompiling or redistribution are forbidden except where the law expressly allows.

5. Warranty

Specific commercial warranty per product will be detailed at launch in a dedicated document attached to the purchase. Statutory consumer rights under Brazilian law are preserved.

6. Communications

Emails sent to waitlist subscribers cover product information, community events and roadmap. You may opt out at any time. We do not send commercial spam and we do not share your email with third parties.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". Pistonix does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances will Pistonix's liability, arising from the use of the site or its content, exceed the value of any payments actually made by the user (which, at this stage, is zero).

8. Governing law and forum

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The forum of the District of Passo Fundo/RS is elected to settle any controversy arising from this document.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product and the site evolve. Significant changes will be communicated by email to waitlist subscribers within a reasonable timeframe.
